How to start a business and increase your income
posted on: 25-Aug-2017An easy overview of starting a business
While there are many ways to increase your income this is one option that you can have more control over your income. While it is quite a scary concept there is no one that will work harder for you than you!
Starting a new business is quite a simple concept in general. What ever you choose to do whether sell a product or a service it is as simple as buy low and sell high. In order to make a profit you have to sell the item higher that you purchased the item. Some people loose sight when selling a service and tend to loose money. Keep in mind everything including your time is money. If you are selling a slot in your tanning bed, once you get the tanning bed paid off there remainder is not all profit. Your time is valuable and must be paid in full as well. People tend to sell themselves short and don't earn the income they could.
It is not really that hard, the key to making money is keeping in mind the cost and earning double that cost. If you are earning double your cost on everything that you sell you will make money. If you need a certain amount of income per month which most people do. Simple figure the amount of income you need and divide that in half, that is the amount of product needed to sell for double your cost. Once you get going with your sales you will notice you need more inventory and at first this makes you happy and scared all at the same time. Just go with it! Growth is a good thing! Before you know it you will have more orders than you know what to do with!
Don't ever forget that your customers are your number one priority! Without them you will fail! Always remember people want to feel special. No matter what you are selling, without their money you can't survive! The customer really is always right and there really is never a certain closing time in sales. If a customer is walking in the door as you are closing, you do have time for them to spend money with you. You do have the time and energy to make them feel welcomed anytime they come into your place of business. If you don't, they won't be back, that is a fact!
